KICS Makes Partnership Gift to Agaciro Development Fund

Kigali International Community School made a $2000 contribution to the Agaciro Development Fund through the Vision 2020 Estate Umudugudu where KICS is located. The gift was presented by KICS parent Juliet Mbabazi who was part of a task force appointed by the KICS Board to determine where to allocate these and other resources during a recent celebration event at KICS.

As a school KICS is proud to be part of this ‘model community’ of the Vision 2020 Estate and we thank Senator Nyagahura for her leadership and the confidence she has given our community to partner in this way through Agaciru. Carine Sabera, KICS parent, teacher, and resident of the Umudugudu, received the funds on behalf of the Senator and the Vision 2020 Estate.

KICS Makes Partnership Gift to Rwandan Education

KICS parent, Juliet Mbabazi, presents Kinyinya Sector Education Advisor with partnership resources up to $9000 to build and outfit a new classroom at Group Scholaire School. Juliet was part of a KICS task force appointed to determine how to allocate some of God’s blessing to KICS to the community that has been a great friend of KICS.

KICS students have been going to Group Scholaire to read with the students in order to help them improve their English abilities. This partnership gift represents another level of partnership with this local school in Kigali. KICS was introduced to this potential partnership by Kinyinya Sector Executive Secretary Raymond Mberabahizi and Senator Marguerite Nyagahura who at the time was the Umudugudu Chief of the Vision 2020 Estate where KICS is located.
